Ladies, can we talk? Can we get real today? I'm gonna talk about something that will hinder biblical womanhood in a woman's life. Now the things I am about to say are not for the faint-hearted. I am going to talk about a very sensitive subject. But this subject needs to be brought out into the open. Any woman who has 'issues' in this particular area, and will not deal with them, will not be able to truly live a life that pleases God. Immorality and an unclean conscience will separate her from God. Therefore, how a woman deals with this subject is absolutely crucial. OK then, lets talk about it. Now obviously there is more than one thing that could hinder biblical womanhood in a woman's life, but today I am going to concentrate on just one. One very obvious hindrance to biblical womanhood, is sexual perversion. Women in the church, I am going to be completely blunt with you. There is absolutely no way a woman can be a true woman, be a truly feminine woman or practice biblical womanhood if she is a sexual pervert! That is absolutely impossible. Now we know that this world is in a complete mess and full of confusion so we do not get our moral standards from there. We need to go to our Creator for our morals, standards and values. So what is a sexual pervert according to God? A sexually perverted female is any woman who is a lesbian, a bisexual, a peodophile, or a woman who has sex with someone/thing that is not an adult and male. Now when I say 'has sex with', I am not just talking about in real life, I am also talking about what goes on in a woman's mind - in other words fantasizing. So, a sexual pervert is also a person who thinks about sexual perversion - in other words they think about lesbianism or fantasize about it. Now I can almost hear somebody protest "Isn't that just a little bit strong? To say that a sexual pervert is someone who only THINKS about sexual perversion?". Yes, that's right! Do you have your bible at hand? Doesn't your bible say "For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"? (Proverbs 23 v 7) So if a woman thinks about lesbianisim (for some, even when she's in church), it is because she is obviously sexually attracted to other women and is most probably a secret lesbian or bisexual. (In other words, a pervert) Why else would she want to think about lesbianism? As a man or woman thinks in his or her heart, so is he OR SHE. People underestimate the importance of their thoughts, but God attaches great importance to our thought lives, and watches how we think very carefully. "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." (Genesis 6 v 5) The thoughts man thought were evil. They were what was in his heart. And it grieved God greatly. It still does. Now I know this subject (or any subject to do with sex) is very delicate and one that the majority of people find very difficult to talk about, for obvious reasons. But the fact of the matter is it needs to be addressed and has needed to be for a long time. It is precisely because many in the church refuse to be honest about sexual sin or weakness that we have churches in England with a large number of people obsessed with sex, and sexual perversion. But is this the way the church is supposed to be? Jesus Christ is coming back for a Bride that is without spot or wrinkle, not a church that is full of sexually perverted people. The way some Christians think is quite frankly, a gross insult to God. Considering the price Jesus Christ paid for our sins, is it too much for God to ask of us to keep a clean mind? Sexual perversion is an ungodly thing, it is evil and it is deadly. It gives no glory to God - on the contrary it dishonours God because it goes completely against nature. So it is about time a light is shone on this subject, no matter how delicate a subject it is. We need some honesty about this. I have actually been quite shocked to find that many women in England (some who say they are Christians) are obsessed with lesbianism. And it has become ridiculous. There can only be one reason for this, and at the risk of offending someone, I am going to once again be brutally honest. These women must be secretly practicing lesbianism in some way or another, whether in real life or secretly fantasizing about it. If any woman who claims to be a Christian is thinking about lesbianism, the way her mind thinks shows what she TRULY is (when no one else is looking) and what she is secretly attracted to. She has not dealt with the sexual perversion and lust in her heart and it has probably become a stronghold. But this is not the way for a Christian woman to be living. Jesus died so we could live in freedom - not dishonesty, bondage, guilt and shame because of sexual perversion.
